I‘m Peter; I provide counselling for both couples and individuals. I’ve been helping people with the trauma affecting their lives for over 20 years. Trauma can include child and adolescent mental health, medical procedures, bullying, sexual assault, domestic violence, palliative care, oncology, chronic pain and homelessness. The traumatic experience remains and influences our daily lives and our decisions.
I provide a broad range of expertise that includes the impact of childhood trauma, such as sexual assault and domestic violence, and identity. In addition, I have had extensive experience working with grief and loss and losing hope, and who may live with suicidal ideation.
I work from a place of acceptance, with no judgement. I hold trauma-informed care and safety as central to my work. I am compassionate, empathic, curious, and work with a collaborative approach, and respect and value every person who consults me.
