I am a qualified Clinical Counsellor (PACFA), Approved Counsellor with Victims Services and a Registered NDIS Provider. My expertise includes, but is not limited to, working with clients presenting with various life struggles, i.e. trauma related to domestic violence and/or sexual assault. Anxiety and depression, social isolation, relationship issues, grief and loss, weight issues, pain and illness. My approach with clients includes being present with them in their space, displaying a high level of empathy and understanding, thus setting the client up with the skill set to create long lasting positive change in their lives.
I have rooms in East Maitland offering face to face appointments. I also offer telephone and zoom counselling appointments. I see clients throughout the Hunter Valley Region of New South Wales. My approach to therapy is generally person-centred, unique to the client, guiding and supporting clients to create positive change in their life.
Through my empathic therapeutic approach, gentle nature, understanding and listening ear, I will guide and support you to bring about positive change, alter any unwanted behaviours, and build motivation and self-confidence. We can work towards creating desired goals and build new intervention skills and techniques that are favourable to you moving forward.
