I am a qualified clinical counsellor and a registered NDIS provider. My expertise includes, but is not limited to, working with clients struggling with low self-esteem and low self-confidence. This may be in relation to life situations including anxiety and depression, social isolation, relationship issues, grief and loss, weight issues, pain and illness, PTSD and other traumas. My approach when working with my clients includes being present with them in their space, displaying a high level of empathy and understanding, thus setting the client up with the skill set to create long lasting positive change in their lives.
I am in private practice and NDIS registered to work with clients and offer face to face, telephone and online counselling services. I cover the Hunter Valley Region of New South Wales. My approach to therapy is generally person-centred, this involves listening to what the client wants, guiding and supporting them to create positive change in their life.
Through my empathic therapeutic approach, gentle nature, understanding and listening ear, I will guide and support you to bring about positive change, alter any unwanted behaviours, and build motivation and self-confidence. We can work towards creating desired goals and build new intervention skills and techniques that are favourable to you moving forward.
