Hi, I’m Paul Sandery, a psychologist consulting at Willow Tree Psychology and Wellbeing. I’m known for my warm, compassionate approach and enjoy working with people of all ages. I believe that feeling safe, heard, and understood is the foundation for meaningful therapy, so I place strong importance on building a genuine, supportive relationship with each client. Together, we can explore what’s going on for you and work toward positive, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you. I provide therapy for adolescents (14–17) and adults (18+), and cognitive and educational assessments for children and adolescents (4–17) and adults.
I find it rewarding to walk alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges and move toward a life guided by their values. I believe people can grow when given space to reflect, recognise their strengths, and connect with what matters most. My approach is integrative, drawing on evidence-based therapies including CBT, ACT, mindfulness, & schema therapy.
I work with a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, OCD behaviours, life transitions, low self-esteem, study challenges, body image concerns, and relationship difficulties.
