Hi, my name is Tracey and I am a registered psychologist with over 20 years experience in the field. I listen from a position of genuine interest, care and curiosity rather than one of superiority or judgement. I am passionate about helping people to free themselves from the negative thought patterns and emotions which bind them and prevent them from being who they want to be. I have worked in a variety of settings over my career including Hospital, Community Health and Private Practice.
I currently work with individuals and couples experiencing a wide range of difficulties including stress, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, abuse, neglect, work related stress/burnout, interpersonal and relationship problems. My therapeutic approach is wholistic encompassing mind, body and spirit and brings awareness to strengths and abilities.
I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities including CBT, ACT, narrative therapy and body-centred psychotherapies. I understand that reaching out to talk to a stranger about your problems can be a scary thing and I endeavour to make people feel as comfortable as possible.
