I am able to help you find out why your child is not progressing well at school. I offer assessments to find out why your child is unable to concentrate well, retain information, comprehend or just remain calmly settled into a schoolwork task for any given length of time. They may have eyestrain, unexplained headaches, poor reading skills, the inability to sit still and focus, and a general aversion to reading and writing tasks. This creates misunderstanding, frustration and sometimes a low self esteem within a student, until they ultimately believe they are " dumb" or "stupid" and then lose hope.
With an accurate diagnosis regarding your child's visual perception, there is instant hope! Now you have an understanding of why your child is not progressing well at school, and why they can't sustain their focus on the printed word for very long. The solution is coloured lenses to alleviate their symptoms and create peace for your entire family.
I provide learning support for your family. It is worth finding out why your child is a slow, hesitant reader, and why they won't focus on their schoolwork, and why they are starting to not enjoy their schoolwork tasks; and why 'homework' is such a battle in your family! Book in for an assessment today and start your journey towards hope for your child.
