Par provides counselling for kids (from 5yr old), adolescents and adults. She also offer family counselling. She brings a rich and diverse educational background in Psychology, Human Biology & Physiology, Neuroscience, and Clinical Pastoral Care. She integrates this knowledge to support clients in a compassionate and holistic way.
Par is trained in a range of therapeutic approaches for variety of mental health challenges. With extensive experience working in hospital/acute psychiatric settings, and in the community, Par have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals during some of their most challenging moments.
Par works with wide range of challenges include: general life struggles - coping with stress from work or school, navigating relationships, Bipolar, Anxiety, Depression, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Psychosis, Trauma/PTSD/cPTSD, Loss & Grief, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Eating Disorders.
Par's counselling services are not covered by Medicare/MHCP or DVA. Private Health Insurance is available. Par also supports NDIS participants who are either Plan Managed or Self-Managed.
You are welcome to book with Par privately, the fees can be adjusted so your out-of-pocket cost is similar to the typical “gap” you might pay under a MHCP.
