Choosing the right psychologist can be daunting, especially when you're feeling vulnerable and unsure how a stranger could help. Creating a good connection and understanding is always my first aim to establish trust and start an open and honest dialogue. I have a warm, down-to-earth, approachable, and compassionate demeanor fostering a non-judgmental environment that encourages you to speak freely and openly. Being an immigrant in this country and at times having “walked a road less traveled”, in my own life, has enriched me with a deep understanding of people and this has allowed me to connect empathetically and naturally.

You may look like you're holding it together. Inside, it's a different story. My clients carry a low hum of tension that never quite switches off. Or they brace for the moment someone finally gets tired of them, never fully letting their guard down. Or they live with a quieter difficulty: a persistent feeling something is fundamentally wrong with them that others can see and they cannot fix. Many have tried other approaches. Too distant, too clinical, too focused on symptoms without touching what is underneath. You don't need the right words. You need to arrive willing to look.

Being neurodivergent in a neurotypical world is genuinely difficult, and as a neurodivergent person myself, I personally get how exhausting it can all be. The masking, the sensory processing, the confusing neurotypical social standards, the internalised ableism, the burnout, the executive dysfunction, and all the added trauma. On top of that, it just doesn't always feel as safe for women, LGBTQIA+ people and diverse groups of people. We may develop anxiety, depression, CPTSD and ways of coping that are not healthy for us in the long run.
