The first step is often the hardest... Find clarity in what you want, be able to express yourself, feel motivated, and explore what positive relationships look like. Have fears, hesitations, confusion and the past been holding you back from contentment in life, career or relationships? Be in the present moment and become more aware of your thoughts. This provides immense relief from fear-based thoughts and gives you clarity, as the mental clutter shifts. This is helpful for all areas of life - career, purpose, relationships, stress, anxiety and so on. Available in ANY location Australia wide via video call.

For artists, researchers, art teachers, and others whose lives are shaped by imagination, reflection, and intense inward questioning. You may find that most helping conversations move too quickly toward solutions or emotional management, while what you seek is a space for sustained thinking, symbolic exploration, and deeper forms of understanding. This practice is held within a counselling frame, but the conversation is closer to spiritual dialogos: a reflective encounter where intellectual, artistic, psychological, and spiritual questions can unfold without pressure toward normalisation.

I work with people who are thoughtful, reflective, and ready to actively engage in therapy. Many of my clients are functioning well on the outside yet feel anxious, burnt out, stuck, or caught in repeating relational patterns. They’re not looking for quick fixes, but for a deeper understanding of how their nervous system shapes their emotions, body, and relationships. Through somatic psychotherapy, we work at a steady and supportive pace to build regulation, capacity, and trust in yourself. Over time, clients often feel more grounded, less reactive, and more able to meet life and relationships with clarity, choice, and ease.

You’re the one who’s always been “too sensitive,” “too deep,” or “too much.” You’ve carried everyone else’s emotions while quietly neglecting your own. Now you feel tired, unseen, and ready for change.
You want to heal the wounds that keep replaying — the trauma, anxiety, or self-doubt that’s dimmed your light. You crave peace, authenticity, and real connection — not quick fixes, but lasting healing that feels like coming home to yourself.
Deep down, you just want to feel safe in your own skin again — calm, grounded, and whole.

Spirituality Therapists
What should I expect from therapy that incorporates a focus on spirituality?
Spirituality can mean different things to different individuals, depending on their experiences, beliefs, and life histories. Some individuals focus on strengthening their belief system, while others experience spirituality in secular ways, such as through meditation, yoga, or by spending time in nature. Clients can expect a therapist to help guide and grow their spirituality through any of these techniques, encouraging the individual to cope with the challenges they face and develop strategies to build resilience and purpose to improve their outlook in life.
What are the most common treatments that include spirituality?
There are several treatments that incorporate spirituality. Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) helps a person examine and reframe their negative thoughts and behaviours. Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) focuses on emotional acceptance and psychological flexibility. Existential therapy is most often used to address anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, apathy, despair, questions of identity, and feelings of purposelessness and existential dread. Transpersonal therapy focuses on a client’s spirituality and meaning in life and may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualisation, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork.
Can therapy incorporating spirituality help atheistic or agnostic individuals?
Yes. For non-believers, spirituality can offer benefits including a greater sense of connection to others and to the natural world. An interest in spirituality may also spur individuals to pursue mindfulness practices, or to contemplate their purpose in life and how to achieve it.
How effective is spirituality as a therapeutic remedy?
Research suggests spirituality is generally beneficial for individuals. It is correlated with better health habits, such as less substance use, and an improved capacity to cope with stress and other mental health challenges. Increased spirituality can lead individuals to become more empathic and less materialistic, as well.
