I use a variety of therapeutic techniques, but believe that the most important factor in effective therapy is the relationship between therapist and client.
Today, many men are confused about our role and relevance in society. A clear sense of manhood, is I believe, critical to healthy relationships between men and women; men and other men; and obviously men as parents. I believe that my personal experiences are relevant here. Over many years, as parent, partner, friend and colleague, I have learned from my many mistakes and now feel that in a non-judgmental and collaborative way, I have something to offer both men and women in this regard. I believe that therapy is the best way to find out about oneself, that we are all unique and that each person’s life pathway is intensely personal

I work with clients navigating grief, family trauma, anxiety and relationship concerns.
My neuroscience based approach provides a framework for deep healing, it aims to resolve client issues from their roots. Deep understanding of our past and current life allows insight into the development of relationship patterns and our inner critic. From this place modern therapy can update old learnings with a new stronger sense of self.

Lê specialises in relationship counselling and cross-cultural issues.
With couples, I see myself as doing something similar to a Conductor in a symphony orchestra: tuning and retuning musicians and their instruments to the love of their music, sometimes subtle, and other times more direct when they haven’t practiced for a long time.

I work with clients who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or relationship issues.
Something isn’t quite right. It may be that you can’t stop yourself from worrying. Or you are compulsively avoiding things (places, people, certain situations). Perhaps you find yourself flying into a sudden, uncontrollable, panic. It may be that you are feeling down: you can’t shake the sadness, emptiness, or hopelessness in your life. You may be feeling worthless and guilty too. It could be your relationships that aren’t working (partner, friends, family, boss, or colleagues). Perhaps past experiences are haunting you so that you lose your connection to the present and the people in it. Perhaps it's all of the above.

I work with those who are experiencing a relationship issues, breakup, divorce or separation.
I have personal experience in this area and because of this, chose to become a therapist so that I can help others in the same way. There is a lack of understanding of what people are going through during this transition, and as someone who has walked a similar path I have insights that are based on experience as well as education and research.

Relationship Issues Counsellors
While the need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
