Isn’t this thing called life so interesting! The ups and downs and challenges we face as we live our lives. Humans are great problem solvers and mostly we can be pretty good at working things out. But sometimes we can’t – we can feel stuck, unsure, lost and more. Friends and family can be too close to be impartial, or might be part of what we are struggling with. This is where counselling can be useful. To sit with someone who hears and sees us as we are. Some days you might need to sit and cry, other times to have someone cheer you on as you lean in hard, and other times it might be to learn something new about yourself.

I appreciate the courage it can take to reach out for support, and so I aim to establish a safe space where you can feel heard and supported in whatever life challenges you are facing.
As a clinical psychologist I have worked with people from all walks of life experiencing all kinds of unique struggles. I value the opportunity to form genuine and meaningful connections with my clients and to help them build upon their existing strengths, come to new understandings of themselves and the lenses through which they view the world, and equip them with the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges. I also work with couples to help them identify and break through negative interactional cycles, heal from breaches of trust and crises, and to reconnect and rebuild a healthy relationship.

I don’t have all the answers for my clients – I see my role as utilising my skills and experience to support clients navigate life’s challenges, shift beliefs and behaviours that limit their potential, and guide them to make their own choices that are right for them.
I appreciate seeing a psychologist can be daunting. The idea of being vulnerable and sharing your struggles with someone you just met can be tough. I really admire my clients – taking the brave step to commence therapy and honour that they recognise life can be better. We all deserve to be at peace, experience joy and live our lives in alignment to our values. I hope to support people on that journey.

I look forward to hearing your story and helping you get the life you want.
If we are left alone with our problems, we can get into a downward spiral. Sharing your concerns with me or with another professional will help you to assess and address them. You can go further in life by unloading some of the emotional weight you have been carrying for so long. Let me help you improve your life.

Sometimes things feel like they are too hard. Sometimes we may feel like we are 'stuck' because of a challenging situation or from a past pattern of behaviour that doesn't seem to let us go. Sometimes our thoughts seem to go around and around and take control of our actions. Sometimes, we just don't know which direction we need to head in, or want to head in, and why. These transitions in life need some time to process. And sometimes it feels like nobody understands us and we just need someone to talk to and to find a bit of grounding and presence.

With over 15yrs clinical experiences, I've helped many clients deal with a wide range of problems:RELATIONSHIPS(Interpersonal, marital, family disputes, parenting, extra-marital affairs; EMOTIONS(stress, anxiety, fear, depression); BEHAVIOURS (anger management, substance abuse, financial; & LIFE CRISES (financial, trauma, bereavement).
Have you ever felt overwhelmed by negative emotions, reacted by losing your temper with a loved-one and then felt sorry, lost, & helpless? Unresolved problems or traumatic experiences can result in a wide range of physical, emotional & behavioural issues such as appetite, insomnia, stress, anxiety, depression, reaching for the booze or even domestic violence. Inevitably, these situations take a toll on you personally & on all your close relationships, leading to further negativity & additional problems, you just know that something is wrong & changes must be made. Behavioral/Emotional/Conflicts/issues don't occur overnight!

Healing is possible, no matter what life has brought your way.
Are you feeling lost, disconnected, or as though life hasn’t gone as planned? Perhaps you’re uncertain about who you are and what you truly want, facing unresolved pain or struggling to find purpose. Many clients I work with feel stuck, burdened by the past, or unsure of how to move forward. My approach is ideal for those ready to explore their inner world, gain self-awareness, and create a life that aligns with their true values. Together, we can work toward releasing what no longer serves you and moving toward a life filled with clarity, meaning, and peace.
