I integrate a range of cognitive therapies with mindfulness practices & art therapies while also considering the impact of societal & family systems.
Navigating the world as a neurodivergent individual can be incredibly challenging, especially without adequate support. Autistic and ADHD individuals, LGBTQIA+ folks, and trauma survivors often face unique hurdles and higher rates of trauma and PTSD than the neurotypical population. Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and dealing with sensory differences, executive functioning difficulties, and the pressures of masking can make it even tougher.

We can use a variety of therapeutic strategies - talking, reflecting, sharing, writing, art therapy, mindfulness, self-care.
Life is full of stressors and challenges. It can be a struggle getting through each hour of each day. As a consequence, we can experience depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, feeling stuck, or feeling not quite right. We may struggle to adapt to a new situation - loss of a loved one, job loss, overwhelmed by work or study, separation, a new diagnosis, a medical event such as cancer or a heart attack. You don' t need to struggle alone. Adjustment and change are possible. Reaching out can be scary. Better now, than later or never. We all need expert support at times. It's ok, to not be ok. An impartial, supportive ear is available.

I am passionate about working along side people, through art making and conversation, to work through trauma, understand themselves better or generally build a stronger sense of wellbeing in their lives.
Art is not a job, rather an inherent trait in all of us! I believe that it can help us find deep, safe & long lasting healing. My approach seeks wisdom from grounded anti-colonial practices that heal the soul as well as the mind and body. No one method works for all, together we can work out what is best for you as in or out of the box as that might be.

Prior art experience is not needed for art therapy, as it is an opportunity to experiment and approach mental health in a playful and explorative environment.
Hi, I'm Samuel (He/They/She/Any) and I'm a non-binary/genderfluid Arts Psychotherapist. In life I have used the creative arts as a way of understanding, listening to and responding to my experiences and inner conflicts. I’m passionate about integrating our inner and outer selves and believe in the value the arts offer in encountering resources and parts of ourselves which aren’t accessed in normal daily life. I offer a gentle, non-judgemental and inclusive therapeutic space for you to reveal yourself as we explore struggles, hopes and what growth and resolution looks like for you at this time.

You will usually discover that the creative process itself is truly the most healing part of any art therapy experience
***PLEASE CONTACT ME VIA EMAIL*** Hi, I'm Rae (they/them) and I'm a trans non-binary and multiple neurodivergent registered supervisor (I avoids using the term ‘clinical’ to describe the supervision work I do, as I prefer to use non-clinical language in my approaches), arts therapist, and psychotherapist with a lived experience of chronic illness. I have white Anglophone privilege and settler privilege. I experience marginalisation due to living in cisgenderist, binary, neurotypical-centred society. I am very passionate about disability rights, the LGBTQIA+ community and mental health. I am vegan and love animals.

You might feel overwhelmed by daily stress, anxiety, or your child is struggling with intense emotions and self-harm. ADHD may have you facing an endless stream of thoughts that keep you up at night, lacking confidence in yourself, or staying chronically busy.
Wouldn't it be nice for the constant feeling of overwhelm to finally stop? Or to see your child enjoying themselves again?
