I provide psychological support for adults experiencing anxiety, stress, overwhelm, self-criticism, and low self-confidence. I have a particular interest in midlife women's mental health, such as perimenopause, career/relationship/identity changes, and late-diagnosed ADHD.
I also offer dedicated support for psychologists and other caring professionals - helping to sustain self-care, prevent or recover from burnout, and navigate challenges such as imposter syndrome and unrelenting standards.

Working with adults across the lifespan, culture, and identities, my areas of interest include: anxiety disorders, OCD; depression; perfectionism; emotional dysegulation and anger; self-esteem and confidence; stress and adjustment difficulties; sleep difficulties; relationship challenges; and ADHD-related difficulties, with a focus on practical strategies.
I work at Mind Matters (M, Th, F) and The Feel Good Clinic (Tu, W). I believe therapy is not about simply “fixing” what feels difficult. Instead, it is an opportunity to better understand the experiences, beliefs, emotions, and patterns that shape our lives, and to develop new ways of responding to them. I particularly enjoy helping clients make sense of their personal stories and explore how past experiences may influence the way they see themselves, their relationships, and the world around them. Through this process, I support clients in developing greater clarity, self-understanding, resilience, and confidence in moving forward.

Life can be perplexing at times. Psychotherapy can help. It firstly involves meeting together to understand your current experience and to foster a relationship of safety. We can then work respectfully to help you find fresh and empowering responses to the patterns and relationships that are causing stress and distress. I draw on evidence-based approaches - developmental psychology (ANZAP), mindfulness training (MBSR and MiCBT) and Internal Family Systems Therapy. These approaches harness present moment awareness and exploration to build a more compassionate and empowering relationship with yourself.

“I am so looking forward to getting to know you as a unique individual, and working together to create the life you wish for. I believe that creating sustainable change is only possible when working with people holistically. I have always cringed at traditional, clinical styles of therapy, so instead I am committed to treating you as a real person and working together to help you live your best life. I love it when people take a proactive approach to their mental health. There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t appreciate how much of a privilege it is to get to know my clients and work together with them in a meaningful way"

From collaborating with different people through therapy over the years, I have noticed that even everyday people feel the effects of modern life on their mental health. This is because modern life comes with a lot of complexity and demands. Today, people pursue a combination of identity, lifestyle, fulfilment, achievement, supportive relationships, a work-life balance, financial gain, career progression, a bigger world purpose, and more. The pursuit is wonderful, however navigating these demands can strain our mental health over time.

Clinical hypnotherapy and strategic psychotherapy for anxiety, performance and social anxiety, perfectionism, imposter feelings, sleep, and the overthinking cycle.
I'm a clinical hypnotherapist and strategic psychotherapist working with high-functioning professionals who can't out-think their own minds. If you're capable on the outside but exhausted on the inside, over-preparing, replaying conversations, second-guessing every decision, this is the work that talking alone hasn't shifted. Clinical hypnotherapy works directly with the subconscious to update the patterns running anxiety, perfectionism, and self-doubt on automatic. Most clients see meaningful change in three to six sessions, not three to six years.

Sleep or Insomnia Therapists
How effective is treatment for insomnia?
The most effective treatments for insomnia are behavioral techniques that reduce anxiety, including anxiety about falling asleep, and allow the body’s natural cycles to be recalibrated. The most common treatment is cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), which researchers have found to be more useful than medication, with rates of success as high as 80 percent.
Are there specific medications for sleep problems?
There are many medications, both over-the-counter and prescription that treat sleep problems. Supplements such as melatonin are popular and may help, though there is little evidence that it is more effective than a placebo. Prescription medications such as zolpidem are sometimes prescribed.
Are there natural treatments for sleep problems?
There are many natural treatments for everyday sleep problems. Reducing blue-light emitting screens, setting a regular bedtime, regular exercise, reducing caffeine and nicotine consumption, and keeping the bedroom dark and cool at night are all lifestyle changes that can help those who struggle with sleep but may not reach the level of an insomnia diagnosis.
What’s the difference between having trouble falling asleep and insomnia?
Life events, stress, and anxiety can lead to sleepless nights for everyone from time to time. To be diagnosed with insomnia, a patient must experience trouble falling asleep, trouble remaining asleep, waking up too early, or non-restorative sleep at least three nights per week for at least one month. Sleep problems affect one-third to one-half of the population, while chronic insomnia affects about 10 to 15 percent of people.
