Visiting a psychologist can often be a daunting experience, which makes holding a safe space to listen to your needs important. My hope is to create a space where you can bring your true self and my work with you will be collaborative and without any judgement.
I offer evidence-based approaches to help and support you in making sense of experiences and understand patterns, feel more connected to who are you, cope with challenges and build helpful coping mechanisms and strategies. Therapy should be a space where you feel seen, heard and understood- we will identify and work on goals that are important to you.

I find that people often come to therapy because they are stuck. They could be struggling with their mood, with their fears, with addiction, with relationship issues, with stress. Whatever the issue, they don’t understand why they are stuck and, despite their best efforts, they don’t know how to become unstuck. Their attempts to use the typical psychological skills and strategies from CBT or ACT don't work, not because of any personal failing, but because they haven't been able to identify the causes of their problem and because there is more to people than just simple thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy to create tailored treatment plans for each individual.
Based in Sydney CBD, NSW, I work with adults seeking support for anxiety, borderline personality disorder, and Asian mental health. I provide a culturally sensitive space to explore past experiences and unmet needs that drive unhelpful coping or relationship patterns. My ideal client wants to understand their emotions, break free from cycles, and build healthier ways of relating. Alongside therapy, I am also appointed as a Single Expert Witness preparing Family Reports for the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.

You may be navigating a difficult life transition, managing a complex personal history, or seeking a truly affirmative space within the LGBTQIA+ community. Many of my clients feel "stuck" in cycles of persistent stress, relationship conflict, or emotional exhaustion and want more than just a listener; they want a clear strategy for change. Your goal is to move past the mental fog to regain a sense of purpose and connection. You need a professional who understands that your well-being is tied to your values and that you deserve a life where you feel in control, rather than just reacting to the next challenge.

EMDR, Schema Therapy and ACT are the most common modalities used in sessions, though through exploration in the first few sessions which direction is best suited will be worked out together in line with your goals/what you would like.
Please know: I am currently not taking on any clients.
Therapy can be a big step and decision and it is important that your therapist is someone you feel safe and supported by, that you are respected and so are your strengths and capacities. I work in a holistic and supportive way working with clients to heal, and achieve the outcomes that they choose. I have worked for a number of years with survivors of childhood sexual assault, adult sexual assault, intimate partner and other violence and also work with those who use violence.
