NDIS Psychologists and Therapists in Redfern, NSW
I work with professionals under pressure who are experiencing burnout, anxiety, or feeling stuck despite outward success. Therapy focuses on understanding underlying patterns and improving how they manage stress and demands.
On the surface, things often appear to be going well, but internally there may be persistent stress, burnout, low mood, relationship strain, or a sense that usual coping strategies are no longer effective.
Many clients come to therapy not necessarily because everything has fallen apart, but because what has worked for them so far is no longer sustainable.

Do you feel overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life? Anxious and depressed? Have you experienced betrayal? Have you felt so misunderstood by many that you decided to lock yourself away, to hide your story and feelings - keeping them hidden because it was safer that way? Perhaps you feel the deep pain of losing faith in humanity, in people, in everything that you've known to be good?
If you are ready to leave these dark woods, I might be able to help you and walk with you.

“This isn’t how I thought my life would turn out.” “This isn’t where I want to be!” When we’re feeling stuck or lost in our life circumstances, it can seem overwhelming and never ending. We feel alone. We can spend our days constantly thinking about what’s gone wrong, and our nights unable to sleep with all the worry. Each day becomes the same as the day before, There seems no end to it, no future without these dark thoughts. Making it harder is the fact that no one understands what we’re going through. No one knows how anxiety, hopelessness or dread can engulf us.

Pain management is our focus. If you have chronic pain, lower back pain, joint pain, fibromyalgia we may be able to help. If you have exhausted your options, we have a new, different pain model and treatment. We use neuroscience and neuroplastic theory, we also use Virtual Reality as a therapy model. Chronic pain is pain that has lasts for longer than three months or beyond the healing time of the event that caused it. We know this is because pain shifts from nociceptive (physical) pain to nociplastic (neuroplastic learned pain). This is why traditional treatments stop working, and a neuroplastic retraining of your brain is required

Heya, I’m Sagar! I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to walk into a psychologist’s office. That’s why I aim to be warm, empathetic and approachable, to build a genuine relationship as the foundation of our therapeutic process.
I work across the lifespan, and I love helping clients navigate those big life changes— adolescence into adulthood; career into retirement; or any of those big, overwhelming events that seem to just come with life.
My approach is to give clients insight into their thoughts & emotions, warmth and space to help process and heal, then collaboratively create tools and strategies to lay problems to rest.

My approach is you-centered, which means whilst I would try to gently initiate explorations, you, the client, are always in the driver's seat. Further, my stance on providing trauma-informed care includes acknowledging that some of our pasts can still be a place too hard to revisit, too unbearable to face. I affirm that to do a deep work together does not necessarily need a revisit the gory details of your traumatic past. Still, trauma is a shadow with many faces; people also process differently. So when you'd wish & your safety toolkit is in place, I will be walking with you through every step of opening that can.
