I weave together holistic psychotherapy, neuroscience-based coaching, and the wisdom of ancient traditions. My work is an invitation to become the fullest expression of who you are, not only to flourish as an individual, but also to be a force for good: in your family, your work, your community, and in the world at large.

Most of my clients have tried to explain themselves to someone before (a friend, a previous therapist, a partner) and walked away feeling misunderstood. I work with LGBTQA+ folks, people in kink and ethically non-monogamous relationships, and survivors of sexual, domestic and family violence; as well as anyone who's navigating identity, relationships, or just a quiet feeling that something needs to shift.

Hello I am Chana, I work with couples and individuals who feel stuck in repeating relationship patterns - the same arguments, the same disconnections, the same sense of not quite being heard or understood. Often, the problem isn’t a lack of love, but getting caught in cycles that leave everyone feeling frustrated, defensive, or alone. As a Couple, Family, and Relationship Therapist, I support people navigating ongoing conflict, breakdowns in communication, emotional distance, and the aftermath of ruptures in trust.

You might be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, experiencing panic attacks, stuck in relationship conflict, or quietly struggling with the emotional overload of motherhood. You may also be adjusting to the emotional and physical impact of a pelvic organ prolapse. Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to carry it alone. As a registered Counsellor, I offer a warm, compassionate and grounded space where you can feel safe to be yourself. Together, we’ll gently explore what’s happening for you, build insight and practical tools, and support you in moving toward a more steady, connected version of yourself.

Pregnancy, Prenatal, Postpartum Therapists
What are the most effective ways to address pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum concerns?
The most effective way to address pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum concerns is by finding a therapist who has prior experience helping other patients overcome the challenge being faced. For example, a marriage and family therapist may have experience helping couples adjust to their new relationship dynamic. An anxiety specialist may have experience helping with phobias or illness anxiety related to the child’s health. A depression specialist may have experience treating postpartum depression.

When should I seek treatment for prenatal or postpartum concerns?
Pregnancy and the postpartum period involve intense physical and mental changes; a degree of upset and instability is normal. However, if these changes impair daily functioning, it may be time to seek help. This distinction is pertinent for postpartum depression: A period of teariness, irritability, and distress is difficult but normal in the one to two weeks after childbirth (sometimes called the “baby blues.”) But if feelings of sadness and hopelessness persist beyond that period, the person should seek treatment.

How do I manage worries during pregnancy or the postnatal period?
A therapist can help patients develop the tools they need to manage anxieties during or after pregnancy. Cognitive behavioural therapy can help people identify and reframe harmful patterns of thought, and change their behaviours. Other techniques and skills can allow people to develop acceptance, psychological flexibility, self-compassion, communication skills, and more.
