I understand everyone has different mental health experiences & needs, and employ a number of evidence-based therapies, including DBT & EDMR trauma therapy.
We all want to lead fulfilling lives, regardless of our situation. It's my passion to help you learn strategies to conquer the challenges you face. Sometimes, it takes courage just to get through each day, & this is where the most impressive changes can occur. I want to help you gain a better understanding & awareness of yourself & what you are capable of. By nurturing change within therapy, I hope to help you avoid feeling that life is "just happening to me" & instead feel empowered. Whether it's a mental health issue, life transition, or coping strategies, I am here to support you towards a life of balance, joy & well-being.

“I believe that every individual will experience challenges throughout their lives and that those experiences can shape the way a person can feel, think and behave with the world around them and in their interpersonal relationships. Often we attempt to protect ourselves from feeling difficult emotions through behaving in a way that is taking us away from living the life we want. I believe that building a deep understanding and connection to the core of our emotional experience can provide understanding and clarity to promote emotional and behavioural change and mental wellbeing.”

I use a person-centred, trauma-informed approach and integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy.
I can understand the overwhelming weight of feeling trapped. It might be navigating the complexities of a narcissistic personality, surviving domestic violence, or facing family conflict that leaves you questioning your reality. This pain is hard to explain to others, and the fear of being stuck can feel suffocating. It can often make us feel very lonely. In our work together, the focus isn’t on labelling or diagnosing the people in your life. Instead, its time to centre what you’ve experienced: the impact of chronic invalidation, control, or threats. Moreover, how those patterns have affected your sense of safety, and self belief.

I support adults and adolescents experiencing distress including anxiety, depression, anger, addiction, relationships, self esteem, motivation, trauma, parenting.
The therapy journey can help us understand and address distress in our lives through understanding how the past has stayed alive in our current experience. It is no longer about what happened, it is how it lives on in parts of ourselves.. "Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it" (Brene Brown). I offer a safe therapeutic environment for you to navigate and resolve the concerns and difficulties you face with gentle curiosity and mindfulness, and will support you in building self-compassion, understanding and connection, strength, self-esteem and a sense of empowerment.

My work is grounded in a relational, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed approach, and shaped by over 20 years of personal and professional exploration, alongside ongoing clinical training.
You may appear to be coping on the outside, while inside feeling quite lost, empty, or disconnected. Others may not see it, but you might feel far away from yourself, unsure of who you are or what you truly want. Many people try to move away from this through achievement, relationships, or constant busyness — but sooner or later, something brings them back to a deeper question of themselves. In therapy, we begin to slow things down and make space for what is there. It becomes a place where you can start to understand your inner world, and gently find your way back towards yourself.

I use evidence based practices and supplement cognitive and solution focused approaches with interpersonal, emotion focused, narrative, and trauma processing approaches where indicated.
As a Clinical Social Worker, I work with people who feel disconnected from their sense of self-worth, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. This can show up in relationship struggles, self-destructive patterns, people-pleasing, emotional dysregulation or numbness. Many clients experience low mood, anxiety, shame, or overwhelm. I support clients to build self-soothing skills, make sense of their experiences, and reconnect with their authentic Self. I work with compassion, honesty, and humour, creating a space that feels safe and grounded. Together, we move toward healing, greater self-trust, and meaningful, lasting change.

But talking with someone who understands trauma, stress, and the nervous system can create real shifts—relief, insight, and a sense of being met rather than judged.
People may seek therapy when the impact of life’s demands, past experiences, or protective patterns starts to exceed capacity, and that strain shows up as disconnection—potentially from purpose, from the body, or from relationships. You may be carrying the effects of painful or overwhelming experiences that still shape how you feel and relate today. Reaching out is a significant step, and you don’t have to work out the next ones alone. I offer compassionate, collaborative therapy informed by years of clinical experience, extensive training, and my work as a facilitator and trainer with the Blue Knot Foundation.

I tend to work with my clients at a deeper level, by exploring emotions and unmet needs, as well as by processing past trauma for those who wish to do so.
Hello! I am a multilingual AuDHD Clinical Psychologist with a special interest in providing neurodiversity-affirming psychotherapy to adults who are (or who believe they might be) autistic and/or ADHD. I combine several evidence-based therapy modalities to collaboratively create a treatment plan that is carefully tailored to the person’s neurotype, goals and capacity in terms of their available energy levels. If you have experienced the more traditional forms of therapy as neuro-normative and it did not quite resonate with you, please get in touch. I would love to hear from you.

I help adults and adolescents break free from long‑standing patterns of anxiety, low mood, and relationship challenges to live a more satisfying life. Many of my clients have experienced persistent low mood, anxiety, or relationship challenges, and some have already engaged in therapy without achieving the lasting change they hoped for. Talking about problems helped, but they find themselves repeating the same patterns over and over and feel powerless to break free. I use CBT, ACT and schema therapy to help people break free from long standing patterns and move them towards the life they want to live.

Trauma and PTSD Therapists
When should I seek treatment for trauma?
Not everyone who undergoes trauma needs therapy to heal, but many do. If, after experiencing a traumatic event, you find yourself struggling with symptoms such as nightmares, dissociation, irritability, or emotional numbness—especially if these symptoms last more than a month and are severe enough to interfere with your daily functioning—you may benefit from seeking out therapy with a trauma-informed provider.

How long does trauma therapy take?
Different types of therapy for trauma unfold on different timelines. Prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy, for example, each take about three months, while trauma-informed CBT may last anywhere from 8 to 25 sessions. Other approaches, especially those that are less structured or that incorporate elements from multiple modalities, may be more open-ended, though many patients report feeling better within the first few months of treatment.

What happens if trauma is left untreated?
Unaddressed trauma can have serious—even devastating—effects on relationships, career, and day-to-day functioning. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can lead people to distrust or lash out at others, making it difficult to maintain intimate relationships; it can also trigger symptoms such as flashbacks or hyperreactivity that can interfere with a person’s ability to function effectively, personally and/or professionally. Some sufferers turn to drugs to find relief. Symptoms may lessen on their own with time, but there is no guarantee that PTSD will resolve on its own.

Can PTSD come back after treatment?
It is possible for PTSD symptoms to recur months or years after successful treatment. This is because, like most mental health disorders, it is not possible to “cure” PTSD, and stressful life events may cause symptoms to recur in even the most resilient individuals. There is no shame in re-experiencing PTSD symptoms nor in returning to therapy when such relapses occur; indeed, many forms of trauma therapy explicitly encourage periodic “maintenance sessions” to reinforce coping skills and ensure that symptoms stay manageable.
