Hi, I’m Jessica. I am a psychologist, a mother, neurodivergent, and a flower lover. I have been described as having a quiet confidence, calming vibe, and quirky persona. I aim to be authentic and unmasked in our interactions together so that you feel comfortable to be yourself. I am passionate about holding space for those who need it. My driving force is to be the psychologist who I would want to support my own loved ones. I believe each client is special, worthy of connection, and that their story deserves to be heard. My approach is never to fix. It is to support.

I work with adults who may appear to be coping externally but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected internally. Many are navigating ADHD or neurodivergence, identity, queerness, cultural experiences, relationship patterns, burnout, or life transitions. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and neuro-affirming, integrating CBT, ACT, IFS parts work, attachment-based therapy, and practical ADHD coaching. Using collaborative intersectional frameworks while maintaining authenticity, empathy and curiosity, we make sense of patterns, reduce shame, and build realistic, sustainable ways of moving forward.

We all struggle sometimes with life, but sometimes, it can feel like there’s no way forward. Sometimes there are things that you wish you could talk about with someone, but you just can’t find anyone who really hears you. I believe that we all deserve to be heard, and that when someone truly listens, it can help us to heal, grow, and move forward. My goal is to collaborate with you to create a shared understanding of your situation and some ways to move forward. It’s fantastic that you’re considering therapy, and I hope to support you on your journey however I can.

Big life changes can leave you feeling all kinds of lost—like you’re not quite sure who you are anymore or how to fit in. Maybe past experiences keep showing up uninvited. Maybe your relationships feel distant, or you’re stuck between cultures, trying to hold on to who you are while adapting to something new. If this sounds familiar, I see you—and I’m here for you. For over 20 years, I’ve worked with people from all walks of life, especially migrants navigating identity and belonging. I offer a warm, safe space to talk things through, get unstuck, and start healing.

Are you struggling with your relationship? Having issues with: communication as you don’t feel like you’re on the same page, conflict resolution - as nothing seems to get resolved, feel like you’ve lost the intimacy and closeness, and you no longer trust one another, are you struggling with sex, finances, house responsibilities, parenting or in-laws? You've tried everything you can think of, but nothing seems to change. The love is still there and you want the relationship to work, you're just not sure how to go about it.

As an ACA Accredited Integrative Therapist & Gottman Trained Clinician, I specialise in working with couples & adults navigating significant life transitions. New client enquiries are welcome, and I currently have openings available. Many of my clients have built successful careers, families and reputations, yet find themselves experiencing a sense of dissatisfaction. Life inflection points such as adult children leaving home, menopause, leadership pressures, career burnout, retirement, grief, or infidelity can prompt deeper questions about identity, purpose & partnership leading to disconnection and a feeling of emptiness.

Gottman Method Therapists
How does the Gottman method work?
One of the core doctrines of the Gottman method is that negative emotions hurt relationships about five times more than positive emotions help them. Thus, couples require five times more positive interactions than negative interactions with each other. The therapist will guide clients on how to improve communication and understanding of each other to manage conflict and have their emotional needs met. The therapist will also advise couples on how to repair relations with each other when conflict arises, and therefore avoid lasting damage.

Is the Gottman method evidence-based?
Yes, this method is an evidence-based approach to couples therapy. The method is based on more than 40 years of research by Drs. John and Julie Gottman, the psychologists who developed the method. The Gottmans analysed decades of data to draw conclusions about what types of interactions are likely to lead to specific results, and which interventions are most likely to lead to success. Studies have found that this approach leads to improvements in relationship satisfaction, intimacy, communication skills, and a lower rate of divorce.

How long does the Gottman method take?
The duration of treatment depends on the specific challenges clients face. Sessions are typically 60 to 90 minutes long, and an average course of treatment is around 10 sessions. In some cases, such as for couples dealing with a critical problem, the therapist will suggest an intensive course of treatment, with daily sessions over the first two to four days. Treatment is complete when the couple is satisfied and has met the goals they’ve set, and when the therapist believes they have the skills to continue on their own.

Is the Gottman method effective?
Through the Gottman method, couples can achieve changes that are real and sustainable. This treatment has been used for more than 40 years; the method is supported by empirical research, including randomised controlled trials that have demonstrated effectiveness in improving relationship outcomes for couples. Like any talk therapy, success or failure depends in large part on how committed the clients are to making positive changes and working toward results.
