I believe that trust is the highest form of human motivation and tricky situations challenge it in ourselves. We can have strengths that are as salient and unique as the barriers we face. My clients can have a good insight into themselves or their situation. They may have qualities that set them up for life or have achievements and yet experience significant setbacks that impact their mental health. I work largely with women navigating their pregnancy, parents with young children (up to 4 yrs), immigrants or people of a multi-racial background navigating change in a personal or professional context.

Through my therapeutic work I have realised that in order to heal and resolve our deep emotional wounds we must focus on the whole picture, our mind, body and our soul. If we want to create lasting transformation, we must switch off the autopilot, our habitual thoughts and behavioural patterns that have been working against us. We must be willing to take the first steps towards discovering who we truly are. Discovering our true authentic self and our worth, is the most empowering experience that we can achieve on our healing journey. In the words of E. Tolle, “You do not become good by trying to be good, but by finding the goodness

Many people I work with feel stuck, disconnected, or burnt out. They might be dealing with trauma, addiction, relationship stress, or a sense of having lost direction. Some don’t know where to begin only that things can’t keep going the way they have. Whether it’s processing pain, finding meaning, or understanding old patterns, therapy offers a place to slow down and make sense of what’s been happening.

As a registered counsellor and transformational practitioner, I work with people who are done surviving a toxic relationship - and ready to rebuild their identity from the ground up. My practice sits at an unusual intersection: frontline clinical training from Lifeline, 1800RESPECT, and national EAP services, combined with a Spiritual Alchemy and Energy Healing practice. I work with the story you tell in therapy - and with the story behind that story. The inherited patterns, the energetic imprints, the invisible contracts that survive every round of insight work and keep pulling you back into the same loop.

I am a qualified integrative psychotherapist, medicine woman, and guide devoted to walking beside others in their journeys. A space where psychotherapy, energetic healing, and soul remembrance meet—guiding you beyond healing loops and into embodied self-expression. You Are Your Own Medicine There comes a moment when you realise… you’re no longer seeking healing to fix yourself— you’re ready to remember who you are. The world teaches you to look outside yourself for answers. But your power has never lived out there. It lives within your body. Your awareness. Your truth. Awaken your light. Walk your truth. Return to your radiance.

I specialise in culturally-safe therapy for adults and young people. I focus on mood issues, sexuality, and trauma. But I’m most passionate about making sure my clients are seen as full and complex — without the need to leave parts of their identity at the door.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a focus on spirituality, health crisis, couples counselling, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).
I’ve sat with 1,000+ people in their most vulnerable moments, helping them find clarity, relief and real transformation — and it still feels like an honour every time. My PhD in Clinical Psychology, and 25 years of continuous training, reflect a lifelong devotion to being able to help people at the deepest levels. Through crisis work, community support, groups and private practice, I’ve had the privilege of conducting over 6,000 hours of healing — each person teaching me something about resilience and humanity. My healing work is rooted in my lived experience and choosing to turn trauma into compassion, strength and purpose.

You’re the one who’s always been “too sensitive,” “too deep,” or “too much.” You’ve carried everyone else’s emotions while quietly neglecting your own. Now you feel tired, unseen, and ready for change. You want to heal the wounds that keep replaying — the trauma, anxiety, or self-doubt that’s dimmed your light. You crave peace, authenticity, and real connection — not quick fixes, but lasting healing that feels like coming home to yourself. Deep down, you just want to feel safe in your own skin again — calm, grounded, and whole.

Spirituality Therapists
What should I expect from therapy that incorporates a focus on spirituality?
Spirituality can mean different things to different individuals, depending on their experiences, beliefs, and life histories. Some individuals focus on strengthening their belief system, while others experience spirituality in secular ways, such as through meditation, yoga, or by spending time in nature. Clients can expect a therapist to help guide and grow their spirituality through any of these techniques, encouraging the individual to cope with the challenges they face and develop strategies to build resilience and purpose to improve their outlook in life.

What are the most common treatments that include spirituality?
There are several treatments that incorporate spirituality. Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) helps a person examine and reframe their negative thoughts and behaviours. Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) focuses on emotional acceptance and psychological flexibility. Existential therapy is most often used to address anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, apathy, despair, questions of identity, and feelings of purposelessness and existential dread. Transpersonal therapy focuses on a client’s spirituality and meaning in life and may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualisation, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork.

Can therapy incorporating spirituality help atheistic or agnostic individuals?
Yes. For non-believers, spirituality can offer benefits including a greater sense of connection to others and to the natural world. An interest in spirituality may also spur individuals to pursue mindfulness practices, or to contemplate their purpose in life and how to achieve it.

How effective is spirituality as a therapeutic remedy?
Research suggests spirituality is generally beneficial for individuals. It is correlated with better health habits, such as less substance use, and an improved capacity to cope with stress and other mental health challenges. Increased spirituality can lead individuals to become more empathic and less materialistic, as well.
