Many children and adolescents, especially those with ADHD or autism, face anxiety, big emotions, and social or school pressures. I provide a caring, confidential space where they feel understood and can explore strategies to manage emotions. Using evidence-based programs, such as Cool Kids, play therapy, and creative, solution-focused approaches, I help young people develop coping skills, confidence, resilience, and a positive sense of self, while partnering with parents to support growth at home.

I have completed level 3 training in Internal Family Systems, a Masters degree and am training currently in EMDR.
Your story and identity is unique. Life at times can be hard, finding someone that deeply listens and understands you at these points becomes crucial. Through a therapeutic process you and I will explore your fears, hopes, multitude of feelings and emotions. Often things become clearer through this process and you discover a form of healing that is deep and long lasting. I don't diagnose you or give you advice. I trust that you have the answers within. You decide what we focus on and we go at your pace.

Therapy in English, Hindi and Gujarati; online across Australia, with early-morning and evening appointments. No referral, no diagnosis, nothing on your medical record. On paper, you may have arrived, and still feel emotionally stretched and known only in fragments. Perhaps you're navigating a major life transition, or relying on coping patterns including substance use, work, or simply holding it together that once protected you but now feel too heavy.

Life can be both exciting and challenging. One of the greatest challenges is learning to be open and recognising that we often repeat the same mistakes, asking ourselves, “Why is this happening to me?” We develop patterns of behaviour that we unconsciously repeat, almost as if we are blindfolded. If you recognise that these patterns are affecting your life and the lives of those you love, I’m here to support you. If you are a man and see that your anger is impacting your family life and want to work through it, feel free to reach out.

Life doesn't always unfold the way we expect, and there are times when life's challenges can leave us feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or stuck. Sometimes these struggles are connected to past experiences that continue to impact how we see ourselves, relate to others, and navigate the world around us. I believe that therapy begins with feeling safe, heard, and accepted. My approach is warm, compassionated, and collaborative, providing a non-judgemental space where you can feel safe to explore your experiences at your own pace.

I primarily use Internal Family Systems ( IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) approaches which makes therapy an experiential process centred towards deep, meaningful and lasting change.
Mental health challenges don’t appear out of nowhere, and they are never just a personal failing. The distress you feel today has roots—shaped by experiences, relationships, and messages you’ve absorbed over time. From childhood, you learned ways to navigate pain, disappointment, or fear, often without even realising it. Whether it was through pushing emotions down, always staying in control, or constantly meeting others’ expectations, these responses were once necessary to ensure you mattered or to prevent pain. But survival isn’t the same as living freely.

I work with individuals and families whose lives have been shaped by trauma, early experiences that continue to shape life today, family-of-origin wounds, relational trauma, neurodiversity, or the deep and often complex challenges of being human. Many clients come feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to trust their own experience. My approach is trauma-informed and neuro-affirming, offering a compassionate space to make sense of what has happened, honour the ways you have survived, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward safer, more authentic ways of living and relating.

Every person I work with is treated with dignity, respect and compassion. This means looking beyond people's current condition, situation or diagnosis to also consider their broader life-history, including how current symptoms may have been shaped by early life experiences. I believe that everybody, no matter how complex or challenging their situation, circumstances or life experiences, when provided the right support has within themselves vast resources for self-understanding and resilience.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapists
What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.

How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.

Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.

How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
