I am a therapist and coach dedicated to helping people become active participants in their own lives. I work with individuals and couples who are seeking clarity, emotional balance, and a deeper connection with themselves and others. At the heart of my work is a simple belief: we all carry power within us. I chose this path because, during times when I felt disconnected and uncertain of my place, someone helped me reconnect with my own inner strength. Today, I support others on their journey of self-discovery and psychological growth, walking alongside them with care and curiosity.

Through my therapeutic work I have realised that in order to heal and resolve our deep emotional wounds we must focus on the whole picture, our mind, body and our soul. If we want to create lasting transformation, we must switch off the autopilot, our habitual thoughts and behavioural patterns that have been working against us. We must be willing to take the first steps towards discovering who we truly are. Discovering our true authentic self and our worth, is the most empowering experience that we can achieve on our healing journey. In the words of E. Tolle, “You do not become good by trying to be good, but by finding the goodness

Therapy for multicultural Australians navigating life between cultures You might feel like you're always switching between worlds — at home, at work, and within yourself. Maybe you’re carrying cultural expectations you didn’t choose. You might feel stuck in cycles of self-doubt, disconnected in relationships, or just emotionally exhausted trying to hold everything together. If this resonates, you're in the right place. I work with people from multicultural backgrounds, especially second or third-generation Australians and children of migrants, who want to feel more in control, more grounded, and more at ease in themselves.

I work with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of themselves - often during life transitions, periods of stress, times of decision, or after difficult emotional experiences. You might be facing anxiety, overthinking, loss, burnout, or a quiet sense of being behind in life. I also work with all types of relationships - romantic, family, friendships, and work dynamics. Some people come with something specific, others with a feeling they can’t quite name. I offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, make sense of things, and gently find your way back to yourself.

Divorce Therapists
How does therapy for people affected by a divorce work?
Individuals may feel a number of emotions following a divorce, such as shock, guilt, grief, anger, and fear. Therapists offer a non-judgmental space for individuals to talk about what they’ve experienced and process their emotions. Therapists will help clients develop coping strategies. They can also help a client rebuild their sense of self and self-worth and talk about what a happier future might look like.

What’s the most common type of therapy following a divorce?
There are several types of therapy that may be useful for divorce, including cognitive behavioural, acceptance and commitment, solution-focused brief, and mindfulness-based therapies. Many therapy types are talk-therapy based, which is typically the most popular option for individuals dealing with divorce. Cognitive behavioural therapy is a widely-used talk therapy, however, there’s no specific therapy type that’s designed to help people with divorce, and different types will work depending on the person.

When should an individual seek help due to a divorce?
When the feelings of a divorced individual, or an individual going through the process of divorce, begin to disrupt healthy daily functioning, it may be a good time to look into therapy. If a person finds that they are not performing at work due to problems with anxiety or motivation, if they’re no longer seeing friends due to feelings of shame, or if they’re not properly taking care of themselves as a result of depression, speaking to a professional could help.

How do you encourage someone to go to therapy due to a divorce?
It’s helpful to express concern and love for the individual while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Sharing how the individual appears to be suffering, and what effects it has on them or on their children, should be done with compassion and empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.
