My goal is to reduce the stigma around help seeking. I help people feel heard and validated by addressing issues like anxiety, depression, self-esteem, healing the inner child and attachment wounds, practising effective communication skills, changing careers and more. As a culturally and linguistically diverse therapist, I have a unique understanding of the challenges and difficulties many families face in Australia, I am here to help, guide and support. For your convenience I offer flexible hours (including evening and weekends) over video or phone. My approach is a mix of science and creativity.

You may look like you’re coping, but inside you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or not good enough. You might turn to food for comfort, control, or relief, then feel shame, guilt, or self-criticism afterwards. Many of the women I work with carry the impact of early trauma, emotional neglect, or difficult mother–daughter relationships that continue to shape how they feel about themselves. Some feel stuck in patterns they don’t understand, while others are quietly asking, “who am I, really?” and longing for a deeper, more meaningful connection with themselves, their body, and their inner world.

People turn to therapy when they feel stuck. They may be struggling to understand their feelings or control a particular behaviour. Others are in deep pain, due to trauma, a personal dilemma or relationship problem. People of all backgrounds and identities are most welcome at my practice.

I have extensive experience working in-depth with many concerns, including depression, anxiety, grief, complex trauma, personality disorders, and gender and sexuality related issues
I am a Jungian psychotherapist and a candidate enrolled in the Australian and New Zealand Society of Jungian Analysts’ training programme. I work with the subtle movements of the inner world — dreams, images, emotions, and the quiet patterns that shape a life. My approach is grounded, compassionate, and guided by a deep respect for the wisdom of the unconscious. I offer a space where you can explore the themes, questions, and experiences that matter most, and where your own inner voice can begin to emerge with greater clarity and confidence.

Do you feel overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life? Anxious and depressed? Have you experienced betrayal? Have you felt so misunderstood by many that you decided to lock yourself away, to hide your story and feelings - keeping them hidden because it was safer that way? Perhaps you feel the deep pain of losing faith in humanity, in people, in everything that you've known to be good? If you are ready to leave these dark woods, I might be able to help you and walk with you.

Are you exhausted from holding it together while your nervous system is cycling between overdrive and collapse? Does the past continue to intrude on the present? Are you still figuring out how to do life with ADHD? Or are you feeling misunderstood or judged while navigating substance use? Perhaps you’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t quite fit. Whether you’re wanting to work on your immediate challenges or are ready to go deeper in therapy, you’re in the right place.

Supporting people with attachment issues, interpersonal difficulties, personality disorders, depression, anxiety and compulsions has been a natural extension of my work.
Life can present many challenges and can sometimes bring exposure to unexpected events with profound impact and ongoing echoes. In my 30 years of practice as a psychologist I have held a passion for supporting individuals attempting to traverse life’s difficulties with particular attention to those who have experienced trauma. Trauma comes in many forms and from many sources and its impact and pathway toward healing is as individual as the person making this journey. I am experienced working with individuals with PTSD including Emergency Service Personnel.

I've been in private practice as a Psychotherapist for 7 years. Outside of psychotherapy, I've also worked in depth with complex mental health issues within in the community for NDIS, and as a Behaviour therapist for adults, children, and families also within the NDIS space. I connect well with adults and adolescents by offering a unique expressive practice including a variety of talk therapy modalities and creative modalities. Expressive therapies are particularly helpful for those who find it difficult to connect with a therapist and perhaps feel like they've told their story many times before.

I specialise in the treatment of mood & anxiety disorders, PSTD and trauma, self-harm and suicidal ideation, emerging personality disorders, psychotic disorders, identify and self-esteem, restricted eating behaviours, emotion-regulation difficulties, parent-child relational issues and family therapy.
Seeking support takes a tremendous amount of courage and is an important first step in addressing issues that cause distress or unhappiness. I believe that creating a safe, welcoming and accepting space is essential in helping clients make contact with difficult experiences, and in developing a richer understanding of themselves and their emotions. With 20 years of experience working in community and inpatient mental health services, I use a psychodynamic and trauma-informed approach which is client-led and tailored to individual needs. I have capacity to see people short-term or long-term.

Personality Disorders Therapists
What are the common treatment options for personality disorders?
Personality disorders are typically treated with psychotherapy, sometimes in conjunction with medication. Therapy can help people with personality disorders develop skills to tolerate difficult emotions, navigate interpersonal relationships, and solidify their sense of self. Medications can treat symptoms that co-occur with the disorder, such as depression, anger, aggression, and impulsivity.

When to seek treatment for personality disorders?
Even though treatment for personality disorders can be an uphill battle, it’s best to seek help if you suspect that you or a loved one is struggling with one, because personality disorders can create substantial problems in life. Symptoms depend on the specific disorder, but overall signs of personality disorders include consistent difficulty maintaining close relationships, dramatic variations in self-esteem, and an unstable sense of identity.

How long does therapy take for personality disorders?
The timeline for treating personality disorders isn’t as clear-cut as it is for other disorders. Change can be difficult, taking from around one year to five, 10, or more. The key is finding a therapist who has extensive experience treating the relevant disorder. For example, a psychologist who specialises in narcissistic personality disorder has specific communication strategies that allow them to sustain the relationship and be more effective with narcissistic patients.

Can therapy help people with personality disorders?
Research suggests that for those who are motivated to address concerns or interpersonal conflict related to a personality disorder, therapy is far more effective than no treatment, and that most people in therapy see improvements. However, since personality disorders involve entrenched elements of identity, they are less responsive to treatment than are other mental health conditions. Finding an expert who has extensive experience working with a given personality disorder is one factor that increases the likelihood of successful treatment.
