Are you constantly asking yourself: ‘Why can't we stop fighting?’ ‘Why do I feel disrespected/unimportant?’ ‘Why am I dissatisfied with my life?’ 'Why do I feel anxious?'. If these thoughts are recurring often, individual, couple or family counselling will help you gain clarity, improve communication and create a more satisfied life. Strong, healthy relationships, whether social or intimate, have a positive impact on our physical and mental well-being. People with poor relationships are more likely to suffer from depression and loneliness. Living in conflict or within a toxic relationship is more damaging than being on your own.

Many of my clients are women 50+ facing major life changes—divorce, loss, burnout, or feeling lost after years of putting others first. They want clarity, emotional ease, and a stronger connection to themselves. I also work with individuals and couples of all ages who feel stuck and want lasting inner change. Using Internal Family Systems therapy, somatic practices, and self-compassion, I help you gently explore what’s going on beneath the surface—so you can move forward with more clarity, connection, and confidence. I also see anyone who wants to know themselves on a deeper level, healing past trauma and attachment wounds.

I specialise in addiction, self-destructive patterns, adult ADHD, and relationship difficulties. This includes issues such as drinking or using more than intended, compulsive or impulsive behaviours, difficulty controlling emotions, and repeating patterns that create problems in daily life and relationships. I also work with anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, and insomnia, including CBT-I. In couples therapy, I specialise in high-conflict relationships, recurring arguments, and trust issues. Because most of my work takes place in a residential rehabilitation clinic in Switzerland, my private appointments are limited.

Reaching out for support takes a lot of courage, and I don't take that lightly. My aim is to create a space where you can feel safe, understood, & able to show up exactly as you are. From there, we can begin to explore what's going on for you at a pace that feels right.

I am passionate about the pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting space and I offer a warm and collaborative environment to address any issues at hand.
My ideal client is a woman who feels like she's lost herself in the midst of motherhood, relationships, responsibilities, or just trying to keep up with life. She might be snapping over little things, feeling guilty afterward, overwhelmed by the mental load, or grieving the version of herself that existed before children. Often, she's the one holding it together for everyone else but inside, she feels like she's running on empty. She wants to stop yelling, find time to do the things she loves, stop second-guessing everything, have a conversation with her partner that lasts longer than 5 seconds, and simply just, breathe!

Pregnancy, Prenatal, Postpartum Therapists
What are the most effective ways to address pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum concerns?
The most effective way to address pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum concerns is by finding a therapist who has prior experience helping other patients overcome the challenge being faced. For example, a marriage and family therapist may have experience helping couples adjust to their new relationship dynamic. An anxiety specialist may have experience helping with phobias or illness anxiety related to the child’s health. A depression specialist may have experience treating postpartum depression.

When should I seek treatment for prenatal or postpartum concerns?
Pregnancy and the postpartum period involve intense physical and mental changes; a degree of upset and instability is normal. However, if these changes impair daily functioning, it may be time to seek help. This distinction is pertinent for postpartum depression: A period of teariness, irritability, and distress is difficult but normal in the one to two weeks after childbirth (sometimes called the “baby blues.”) But if feelings of sadness and hopelessness persist beyond that period, the person should seek treatment.

How do I manage worries during pregnancy or the postnatal period?
A therapist can help patients develop the tools they need to manage anxieties during or after pregnancy. Cognitive behavioural therapy can help people identify and reframe harmful patterns of thought, and change their behaviours. Other techniques and skills can allow people to develop acceptance, psychological flexibility, self-compassion, communication skills, and more.
