If you’re reading this and considering Living Life Psychology, good on you for taking the hardest step on any journey, which is the first one. My work focuses on young people and adults who often have problems with: Depression (feeling down, numb, not motivated); Anxiety (worrying about the future, feeling panicky, anxious around people); Video games & technology (excessive or compulsive use of video games which is a barrier to daily life); Relationships (things not going well with friends, family, or issues at school/work place); …and many, many more.
I am an empathic, present, non-judgemental and open minded therapist. I have experience helping people with managing challenging transitions in life, especially those related to relationship and health issues. Sometimes symptoms of anxiety, depression and stress can be a challenge even if the cause isn’t obvious. I have the skills and experience to assist people in finding ways to cope with life’s challenges, whatever form these take. I work collaboratively with clients to help them find ways to develop their own skills to help change perspective, come to terms with situations and approach life feeling more capable and connected.
Are you constantly asking yourself: ‘Should I stay or leave?’ ‘How do we stop from constantly fighting?’ ‘Why can't I get along with others?’ ‘Why do I feel irritable / dissatisfied with my life?’ If the answer is ‘yes’ to any of these questions, you are likely to benefit from individual, couple or family relationship counselling. Strong, healthy relationships, whether social or intimate, have a positive impact on our physical and mental wellbeing. People with poor relationships are more likely to suffer from depression and loneliness. Living in conflict or within a toxic relationship is more damaging than being alone.

I am a clinical psychologist specialising in sexual psychology. Unlike most psychologists, I have extensive experience and training in sexology. I am also distinct from the majority of sex therapists with advanced clinical psychology training. My skills, therefore, are suited to a wide variety of clients with co-occurring sexual and mental health concerns or more complex psychosocial situations. My background as a registered sexual and mental health nurse specialist provides me with a comprehensive understanding of the impact of physical illness e.g. cancer, or physical disability on individual and couple sexuality.
Life can be challenging at times. It may feel like the simplest tasks that used to be achievable are now insurmountable. The things you used to enjoyed may not be as enjoyable anymore and you may feel like you're stuck in a work/life imbalance that has taken away any pleasure or meaning in your life. Counselling can help by providing a space to express your thoughts, process your feelings and gain perspective in order to change those behaviours that are limiting your quality of life. Small incremental changes are possible and you are worthy of living a meaningful and purposeful life.
Understanding how you experience the world is central to my work as a therapist. I am interested how feelings and thoughts can manifest in our bodies. Gentle exploration of these somatic responses can assist in deeper understanding of our emotional world. Working together, I would support you toward your self-acceptance of challenging thoughts and feelings. Alongside my private practice, I am Program Clinician for a charity that supports parents experiencing perinatal anxiety and depression implementing and conducting our triage process.

I am a relationship counselor and sex therapist. Couples do not always realise that sexual issues are often the main problem for their unhappiness. We are all taught reading, writing and math at school but very few people have received proper sex education or relationship advice. Most areas of conflict are lack of romance, companionship and fun. Expectations are often unrealistic and after being together for some time couples may encounter a mismatch in sex drives, one partner wants sex more than the other. This desire discrepancy is not abnormal but this conflict can end up a very negative effect on the relationship.
I am a transpersonal art therapist and transpersonal counsellor. We work together to help you gain insight, recognise and change negative patterns of behaviour, and gain greater resilience and help you to further your personal growth, and reach your full potential. Transpersonal means that that we work on the psychological, spiritual, physiological and sociological aspects of what it is to be human. I am also a graduate from the Institute For Sensorimotor Art Therapy, and offer Healing Trauma with Guided Drawing.
