I draw from EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, IFS and psychodynamic approaches, adapting therapy to each person’s needs.
I welcome adults and adolescents navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, grief, identity, relational wounds and life transitions, including LGBTQIA+ clients seeking affirming care. Many arrive feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, caught in old patterns or unsure of who they are becoming. I also support women through perimenopause and menopause, where hormones, trauma, mood, sleep and identity intersect. At DreamLab Psychology, I offer warm, collaborative, trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming care to help clients feel more grounded, coherent and at home in themselves.

Hi there! I work closely with clients to explore how their early attachment experiences impact their current relationship to themself and others. I help clients break negative patterns by creating emotional safety to explore the roots of their pain.

Would it be helpful for you to talk with a counsellor about areas in your life that are distressing or perhaps causing you to get stuck? There may be some patterns that are no longer serving you, or goals you want to build on. Creative expression, body awareness, mindfulness and self-care approaches that meet each person's needs can be included alongside conversation.

Therapy isn’t about fixing you - it’s about understanding you. I combine psychotherapy with Art Therapy to help clients explore emotions, develop insight, and move towards meaningful psychological change in a way that feels authentic to them. I work with adolescents and adults who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Together, we'll make sense of your experiences, explore what lies beneath them, and find new ways of moving forward - through conversation, and when helpful, through art-making.

I believe that therapy is a necessity for every individual, regardless of their age, gender, or circumstances. Everybody has a story, and every story needs to be heard by a willing ear, understood with no judgement, shared in a safe environment, and respected. I aim to deliver a positive outcome for individuals, allowing them to further better their lives today, tomorrow and in their futures using a holistic and person-centred approach. I help my patients in building self-awareness, confidence, and understanding and empowering them to regain control of their lives, allowing positive choices, providing a sense of direction.

You may look like you’re coping, but inside you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or not good enough. You might turn to food for comfort, control, or relief, then feel shame, guilt, or self-criticism afterwards. Many of the women I work with carry the impact of early trauma, emotional neglect, or difficult mother–daughter relationships that continue to shape how they feel about themselves. Some feel stuck in patterns they don’t understand, while others are quietly asking, “who am I, really?” and longing for a deeper, more meaningful connection with themselves, their body, and their inner world.

You are infinitely more than your mind, so welcome to healing beyond words. As a Somatic Psychotherapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I apply a body-oriented approach to growth and change. We meet your intuitive knowing and deep curiosity by actively tapping into the connection between mind and body to ease suffering, renegotiate trauma and build resilience. Through safe therapeutic relationship, loving presence, and gentle guidance, together we re-pattern unhelpful imprints through experiences in the present. When we invite all of ourselves to show up and heal in a safe space, our strength and capacity for joy expand.

Sometimes life doesn’t unfold the way you imagined—you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure what comes next. If you’re carrying that quietly, perhaps in a language that isn’t your first, you don’t have to face it alone. I understand this firsthand. I came to Australia as a migrant, studied in my second language, and built a life here—so the homesickness, the pressure, and the in-between feeling of living across two cultures aren’t just things I’ve read about. I’m a PACFA Registered Counsellor with a Master of Counselling, offering counselling in Mandarin and English for adults, migrants and international students.

I offer powerful, evidence-based therapy that combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), IFS, Hypnotherapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Schema therapies.
Empowering and supportive therapy, helping you heal past trauma, build healthier relationships, and reconnect with your true self. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed or unsure of themselves. You might be struggling in your relationship, repeating the same painful patterns, or feeling lost after a breakup. Maybe you have been carrying the weight of past trauma for a long time, and it is starting to affect how you see yourself and your place in the world. I understand how trauma can impact relationships, creating hard to break patterns that leave you feeling disconnected, or unworthy of love.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapists
What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.

How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.

Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.

How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
