Our sessions will be adapted to your needs and preferences, drawing from person-centred therapy, internal family systems therapy, somatic therapy, EFT tapping, polyvagal theory, attachment theory and more.
Take a moment to check in with yourself and your body right now. What emerges? No matter what it is, know that you do not have to explore this alone. As human beings we are naturally self-protecting. Often this means that we attempt to bypass emotional discomfort in an effort to protect ourselves from pain. This avoidance tends to mean our suffering lingers and manifests in ways we have little control over such as; anxiety, depression, destructive relationships, unhealthy ways to cope and physical symptoms. I am here to help you safely feel into yourself, and release the parts that no longer serve you.

As I've developed my practice, I've come to incorporate IFS (Internal Family Systems) and Somatic therapy with CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), allowing for both self-understanding and acceptance, as well as a useful way forward.
Heya, I’m Sagar! I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to walk into a psychologist’s office. That’s why I aim to be warm, empathetic and approachable, to build a genuine relationship as the foundation of our therapeutic process. I work across the lifespan, and I love helping clients navigate those big life changes— adolescence into adulthood; career into retirement; or any of those big, overwhelming events that seem to just come with life. My approach is to give clients insight into their thoughts & emotions, warmth and space to help process and heal, then collaboratively create tools and strategies to lay problems to rest.

Hi, I'm Patrick. I'm a clinical psychologist passionate about offering thoughtful, affirming care for people who are navigating life with depth, insight, and complexity. As a Queer person from a culturally diverse background, I know how hard it can be to find a therapist who truly understands identity, intersectionality, and the broader systems we move through. My practice is built on the belief that mental health support should feel safe, empowering, and free from judgment. I enjoy working with people who are self-reflective, curious, and ready to invest in their growth.

Something isn’t quite right. It may be that you can’t stop yourself from worrying. Or you are compulsively avoiding things (places, people, certain situations). Perhaps you find yourself flying into a sudden, uncontrollable, panic. It may be that you are feeling down: you can’t shake the sadness, emptiness, or hopelessness in your life. You may be feeling worthless and guilty too. It could be your relationships that aren’t working (partner, friends, family, boss, or colleagues). Perhaps past experiences are haunting you so that you lose your connection to the present and the people in it. Perhaps it's all of the above.

I bring four decades of experience in psychotherapy, counselling and art. I work with individuals, couples, and family members who seek to change their relationships with themselves and others. I aim to open possibilities to people who have little hope for change, struggle with depression, anxiety, and trauma symptoms, feeling overwhelmed and lost. This is often accompanied by counterproductive soothing behaviours such as substance use, addiction to gambling, gaming, sex, or screen use. Further, some clients may stay in relationships that deepen their belief that they cannot become the agents of their own lives.

I work using both talk and somatic therapies to help you feel better.
Are you a woman and a primary caregiver? Carer burnout is a real and serious condition that can affect your health, relationships, and overall quality of life. It can manifest as chronic fatigue and exhaustion, grief over loss of autonomy, resentment towards those you care for, guilt about any 'negative' emotions, feeling overwhelmed and helpless, loss of interest in activities you once enjoyed, increased irritability and frustration, social withdrawal and isolation, and physical symptoms like headaches or frequent illnesses.

I offer somatic clay therapy for individuals who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them—especially those who have found talk therapy limited and are curious to explore a more embodied therapeutic modality.
I work with three distinct clay therapy approaches: Clay Field, Wheelfulness, and Clayfulness. Clay Field therapy helps release tension and strengthen underactive areas. Wheelfulness cultivates embodied centeredness and focused attention. Clayfulness combines intuitive sculpting with psychodynamic processes to explore deeper aspects of the self.

I often incorporate mindfulness and body-based ( somatic) techniques to help you become more aware of your thoughts and emotions, reduce distress, and support your overall mental health and well-being to deliver long-lasting results.
Life can feel overwhelming. You might be navigating the complexities of midlife - relationship changes, parenting challenges, health issues, financial pressures, or the emotional weight of past trauma - and it’s starting to feel like too much. You don’t have to carry it alone. I offer a compassionate space where you can feel heard, understood, and begin to reconnect with yourself. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, uncover your strengths, and work towards a path that feels more balanced and fulfilling. The aim is to help you reclaim your sense of freedom, connection, and joy.

With EMDR, Internal Family Systems-informed therapy, somatic (body-based) tools, and creative arts and music approaches, I help you reconnect with your inner resources and find lasting relief, beyond talk therapy alone.
Feeling stuck? You’re used to being the one others turn to: calm, capable, in control. But lately, you feel exhausted, emotionally flat, or disconnected from who you are. You may have tried talk therapy, time off, or pushing through, but something still doesn’t feel right. You’re carrying more than most people realise: burnout, trauma, or a deep sense of stuckness. You want relief, clarity, and to feel more like yourself again: present, connected, and at peace. You’re not looking for a quick fix, but a more sustainable, embodied way forward.

I have trained in a variety of approaches but the ones I am most drawn to are: Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic (emotion and body focussed) therapies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Brainspotting.
Hi! I am a counsellor and mental health social worker and I work with people who want help to heal from unresolved trauma. I also work with people who struggle with boundary setting and 'people pleasing', which often leads to burnout. For professionals, I love providing counselling to other counsellors and helping professionals, and I believe engaging in our own therapy makes us better counsellors in many ways. Clinical Supervision is also available for counsellors and social workers.

Somatic Counsellors

How does somatic therapy work?

Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.

Is EMDR a somatic therapy?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.

Is somatic therapy evidence-based?

Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.

What is somatic trauma therapy?

Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
