I am a Clinical Psychologist with 15 years experience across public and private mental health settings, with extensive experience working with children and adolescents. I have a particular interest in attachment and impacts across the lifespan, perinatal psychology and the parent-infant relationship. I further enjoy working with attachment-based concerns, supporting clients through periods of major life transitions, trauma and significant life events, along with relationship and interpersonal issues.
Employing relational and attachment-based therapies, I work with clients on understanding how their past relationships have shaped current ones and how they see themselves in the world. I incorporate a range of evidence-based interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), CAT, CBT, ACT, Mindfulness and mentalization.
I have a warm and relaxed style, placing value on creating a strong therapeutic relationship. My therapeutic style uses curiosity, openness, humour and empathy to help clients feel comfortable and focuses on helping individuals to develop a healthy sense of self.
