Coming to therapy can be daunting so it is important to me to make sure I get to know you and what you want from the experience. I am an open person with a keen interest in birds, video games and a wry sense of humour who is happy to discuss the absurdities of life. I generally work with ADHD, trauma, adjustment difficulties, grief and loss, anxiety, depression and much more. I am passionate about working with neurodiverse people in particular to help improve day-to-day function, meet goals, and improve overall wellbeing. I can provide assessment for neurodiversity for those who are unsure or wanting to find out more.
I have experience working with clients of all ages and accept referrals for adults, teens and kids. I use a range of therapies to find that best fit; including EMDR, ACT, schema therapy, DBT, attachment-based therapies, and play therapy. The choice of technique is based on your own preference and needs, as I do not believe in a 'one size fits all' approach.
I believe in the importance on a client-centred approach to therapy which means ensuring that the help and support I offer fits not only with your goals for therapy, but your own individual needs and preferences. Connection is the key to healing and so my goal is to get to know you and ensure your experience is a safe journey towards recovery.
