I pride myself on being on of the few psychologists who will help you investigate the underlying processes behind your difficulties. If you're prepared to commit to the therapeutic process to create meaningful change, then I hope you will contact me. Achieving sustainable change is not quick process, so if you're in need of immediate tools to alleviate symptoms in the short-term, I encourage you find one of the great professionals who offer more of that service. On the other hand, if you feel there are unconscious processes that you're ready to explore, my psychoanalytic approach might suit you more.
I will help you explore the parts of your mind that you may not be currently aware of that are directing your behaviour. We'll investigate the dysfunctional patterns and relationships in your life in order to gain a real understanding of how your mind works. This understanding can then be used to make more positive, conscious decisions.
If you'd like a genuinely empathetic therapist that can hold your distress, who will remain present with you as we do the work of individuation, and, who will treat you as an individual (not as a disorder), then I look forward to hearing from you.
