I am an accredited counsellor with a special interest in issues relating to children, child development, behaviour and assisting parents in building strategies to best help their children. Teen counselling works closely with parents/ caregivers and their teenagers, while still respecting the right to confidentiality. The aim is to provide a safe, respectful and confidential place for the teen to explore their concerns.
Play therapy is my area of interest, and I’m currently furthering my knowledge in child anxiety, depression and working with children who are in crisis. I work collaboratively with parents during their children’s therapy. I can assist in areas such as attachment problems, abuse and neglect, trauma and crises, grief and loss, anxiety, depression & withdrawl
