Are you ready to work on changing your life? You have taken the brave first step by looking for a counsellor. I currently have some spaces and would love to listen to your story and help you make the changes you need to make to reach your goals. You set the pace and I will provide the safety for you to explore what it is you need to restore yourself. You may be recovering from childhood, adult or perinatal trauma or grieving a loss, or you may be experiencing a difficult transition or relationship. Whatever your pain or confusion, I would be honoured to work with you as you heal and find a new direction.
I work holistically with the body, mind and spirit and integrate a variety of evidence based models depending on your needs. This may be Emotionally Focused Therapy for relationship distress or Solution Focused Brief Therapy for a current issue. You are at the centre of all that we do together and I check in with you regularly to ensure that you feel safe.
Making the first appointment is a brave step towards healing. I have over 40 years of experience working with people through their most difficult times as a Neonatal ICU Nurse and Counsellor.
