About
Michelle is an experienced Psychologist. She is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society. She works with adults, adolescents and children (12yrs+). Areas of experience: trauma, phobias, anxiety, panic disorder, separation anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, work related problems, adjustment to chronic illness, grief, low self-esteem. Michelle utilises effective psychological treatments including CBT, Schema Therapy, ACT, DBT, Narrative & Solution Focussed Brief Therapy & Eye Movement Desensitistion and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Michelle will tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs. Michelle first began working in mental health 19 years ago and has been a registered psychologist for the past 15 years. She has worked in a variety of roles which include specialised trauma services, hospital settings, community mental health and vocational rehabilitation.
She also has experience in child protection and private practise. She is passionate about working in partnership with clients and creating meaningful change for better psychological health.
