Michelle George - Occupational Therapist works with toddlers, children, teenagers and adults. She is experienced working with clients who have experienced developmental trauma, neurodivergence, autism, ADHD, Pervasive Drive for Autonomy/Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), school refusal / school can't, Oppositional Defiant disorder (ODD), developmental delay, Reactive attachment Disorder (RAD), emotional regulation, parenting support, postnatal support and many other presentations.
Michelle is particularly passionate about utilising a neuroaffirming approach, mental health, psychosocial disability, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and family systems. Michelle offers in-clinic, home visits, school visits and community visit appointments where appropriate towards her clients’ goals.
Michelle is experienced with Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) and report writing including regarding (Individualised Living Options (ILOs), Supported disability accommodation assessment (SDAs and SIL), home modifications and equipment prescriptions. Michelle holds a Master of Occupational Therapy from The University of Queensland.
