Greetings, and thank you for searching for some assistance to help you to reach the goal(s) andor solve the problem(s) you may be experiencing or even struggling with. As a mature experienced psychologist who grew up in differing cultures and loves her job, my method is to listen and explore with kindness and compassion so you can address the cause and maintenance of your problem, for without a good assessment the treatment can be wrong. Original and current unhelpful coping is identified and better ways to evaluate and problem solve are found. Although therapy can be difficult, I try to make it as fun as possible!
I think its important to sort out current and past problems/ past traumas. Sometime we have to go backwards to move forwards. I use many modalities for treatment. I treat anxiety, depression, stress, personality issues, low self esteem, negative self concept, anger issues, identity issues, past trauma, sexual assault, eating disorders, bipolar, and more.
I always have time to talk to people to help them get started and to understand what to expect with therapy. I'm happy for people to text as well as it can be much easier. I do private, insurance and medicare, the rebate is $92.90, so out of pocket is $97.10. I also do 5 bulkbill clients per week and some reduced rate as my contribution to the community.
