Hello, I am a registered psychologist with experience in hospital settings where I have worked with people experiencing a range of mental health difficulties, including depression, anxiety disorders, adjustment issues, stress, anger, relationship difficulties, and attachment issues. I am passionate about working with people to improve their relationships, navigate the journey of parenthood, address co-parenting difficulties and have a particular interest in working with new fathers.
I primarily use an interpersonal approach and draw from various evidence-based therapies, such as acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, schema therapy, and interpersonal neurobiology.
I understand that the first contact with a psychologist can be difficult and that building a therapeutic relationship is crucial for successful treatment so I am dedicated to creating a safe and comfortable environment for clients. A space where you can explore their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement.
