There Is Nothing Wrong With You <3. We all have certain traits that can either benefit us or hinder us. This all depends on the circumstance and how aware we are of which trait is behind the wheel in any given moment. Your Vigilance keeps you safe, but when it is always taking the driver’s seat your nervous system becomes taxed. Your people pleasing makes you feel valued and it’s good to care about the people around you. However, having clear boundaries makes for more authentic relationships and stops you from burning out. I’m not interested in trying to "fix" you, but I would love to support your path to self-awareness.
As a practitioner of Integrative Psychotherapy, I draw from multiple modalities to find the most suitable approach for each individual. I have extra qualifications in Attachment Theory, Mindfulness, Metacognition, ACT and Couples Therapy. I also like to include a holistic perspective that takes into account lifestyle, contact with nature and physical health.
