Mel has experience working with individuals across the lifespan including children, adolescents, adults and families to assist them to overcome a range of presenting issues. Mel works in child and adolescent education settings supporting individuals through mental health challenges and differences such as: Depression and anxiety, stress, self-concept difficulties, ADHD, autism, body image concerns, procrastination, bullying, and bereavement.
Mel is a registered psychologist with AHPRA, working at Brighter Minds and KANDA Psychology. Mel has a special interest in offering diagnostic assessments for Autism, ADHD, Specific Learning Disorders such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia with helpful and practical recommendations to support progress.
Mel likes to take a strength and neuroaffirming based focus whilst also incorporating a nurturing and compassionate approach to all her clients.
