Are you struggling to deal with an unexpected life event such as the end of an important relationship, the death of someone you love or a life transition that came out of nowhere? Are you feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed or stuck? Do you have a general sense of unease in your life? Grief and loss is a challenging emotional experience that can create immense feelings of sadness and confusion about how to cope. Counselling provides a confidential space to explore what has been going on for you and allows you to feel heard and understood.
I support individuals experiencing all types of grief and loss. This may be due to bereavement, life transitions or living losses (such as separation/divorce, relationship issues and struggles of new motherhood). I provide a warm, empathic space to walk along side you with compassion and non-judgement as we collaboratively work to make sense of your story.
I understand it can be daunting to reach out to a counsellor for the first time. My belief that the relationship between client and counsellor is the foundation of successful therapy ensures that you will feel encouraged and supported on your path forward to find clarity, meaning and peace.
