About

Sometimes, things happen in our lives that we can’t control—and it can be really difficult to cope, especially when you’re disabled or live with a mental illness. Sometimes, you just need to talk to someone who “gets it”. Someone who can help you ride the waves of life, and support you with strategies to not only cope, but thrive. I specialise in providing compassionate mental health counselling for disabled people—including those with chronic illness and chronic pain. But I support clients with a variety of concerns.
As a chronic illness and lived experience counsellor, I know the positive impacts good mental health support can have—because I too have struggled in the past. With burnout, with depression, with anxiety, and a number of other health issues. I know how lonely and frustrating it can feel—and sometimes, you just need someone who will listen.
Because of my lived experience, I can empathise and understand more than the average psychologist or mental health counsellor—and I’m here to listen with compassion and walk alongside you, while you take the lead. If you want to take a step in the right direction for your mental health, please get in contact.
