Hi, I'm Meg. I like to help people with the deeper currents in their life. The ones that are a little stubborn and won't budge through intellectual understanding alone. Sometimes these are threads to past experiences needing more attention, or ways we've adapted to social pressures where there's scope for us to respond more authentically. Using a somatic approach, I can help you connect with the felt sense of these experiences and adaptations. Through deeper emotional processing it becomes possible to make changes you've been hoping for.
Together, we can build on your capacity to show up for yourself with presence and care in your day-to-day life, whatever comes your way. I have training in Internal Family Systems Therapy, and many years experience with meditation practices. I also draw from attachment theory, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Polyvagal Theory.
Therapy can be daunting and it takes courage, but it's often well worth the effort. Having another presence to help focus your awareness and witness your process can be surprisingly healing.
