Engaging in therapy can be challenging and it’s important to find the right person for you. Here is some information about how I work. My aim is to help people understand how, when and why their symptoms developed. I look not only at the individual, but also at the the family and social systems they have been a part of, and the experiences that have shaped them. I help people build skills to manage current challenges and also to heal deeper childhood wounds and traumas. I identify and work with the unique strengths and inner wisdom of each person.
I have over a decade of experience in working with people who have dealt with or are dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, sexual trauma, domestic abuse, bullying, attachment wounding, relationships difficulties, workplace stress, vicarious trauma, carer burnout and stress, depression and anxiety.
I take a warm, gentle and non-judgmental approach. I understand that for healing to take place, the connection and trust between therapist and client is paramount. It is a privilege to accompany clients on their journey towards change and healing. Please feel free to reach out for a free 15 minute consult if you think I might be the right fit for you :)
