If you have experienced loss through relationship, death, career or injury then I can offer support and guidance. My counselling models mindfulness, body (somatic) awareness and cognitive behaviour therapy. Emotional issues such as relationship concerns, trauma, abuse and addictions are areas I am qualified to support you in. I will be offering empowering options for you as you seek solutions to areas in your life that are not benefiting you.
I work with people to find approaches that work effectively and with realistic goals in mind. This applies to the person who needs to explore emotional concerns and/or has a diagnosed or undiagnosed mental health issue.
Individuals who come to see me are given opportunities to discuss issues where I may use cognitive behaviour therapy as well as the sensory modulation therapies of mindfulness and therapeutic arts, depending on each individual's needs. If you have a mental health plan from your gp you will recieve the medicare rebate.
