I have been working in a professional, caring and sensitive way with individuals and families in private practice (and in their homes) for over twenty years treating a variety of complex mental health issues including stress, anxiety, depression, anger management, AD/HD, autism and women's issues. I have also been delivering the Parenting Together Program (PTP) into homes for over 15 years. PTP is an individualized early intervention program designed for 3-8 years to reduce child non-compliance and improve a secure child-parent attachment to promote and enhance positive long term social/emotional and behavioural outcomes.
Depending on your individual needs I can either see you at home or at my office. Home visits are often useful when dealing with child behaviour problems as it allows me to observe the child in their natural environment I have an area of expertise in working with all aged individuals with AD/HD to manage their challenges and lead successful lives.
I understand that life can be difficult and present us with many challenges. As we struggle to take on more roles and demands we can be left feeling completely overwhelmed and alone. I see each client as a unique individual and my goal in therapy is to work with this uniqueness to bring about a positive change and discover a new way of being.
