I work with adults, and couples, experiencing a wide range of difficulties. Mostly I work with anxiety (panic, obsessive-compulsive behaviours and phobias), substance and gambling addiction, suicidal thoughts and behaviours and self harm difficulties, depression, relationship issues (including sex therapy), personality disorders, posttraumatic stress and sexual abuse.
I have a particular interest in helping people who have been exposed to trauma, many of whom subsequently develop Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The majority of my work is with Police, Paramedics, and Fire Fighters, who develop PTSD directly because of the work they do.
