Clare is a warm and compassionate Clinical Psychologist with a depth of experience treating a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, perinatal mental health, grief and loss, transition and adjustment issues, and self-esteem difficulties. Clare has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings and has extensive experience working with veterans and emergency service personnel who have experienced trauma. She also has specialist skills in working with women who are experiencing difficulties during the perinatal period and currently works with the Gidget Foundation.
Clare provides evidence-based treatment that focuses on the unqiue needs of each individual. Treatment approaches may include CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, EMDR, Mindfulness, DBT, ACT, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
Clare is passionate about providing a high level of care for her clients and working in a collaborative manner. She is aware that taking the first step to ask for help is difficult and is therefore more than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding what to expect in treatment. Clare is registered with Medicare, DVA and WorkCover.
