I work with couples, families, adults, parents and adolescents in a calm space outside of everyday pressures. People often come to me because their relationships are triggering emotional pain and they feel lost. Therapy is about finding new ways to think and relate to your problems and act accordingly. Change can come about when you become less reactive and get more thoughtful. With the assistance of a neutral person (therapist) you can grow yourself and find ways to manage what previously felt impossible to tolerate in both yourself and your relationships.
My approach to individual, couple & family therapy is evidence based proving to be effective even when people are in distress; such as couple conflict or families with a long history of complex problems, as well as when people are functioning well and want to improve their relationships and grow themselves. I also offer individualised parent programs.
This is a safe place away from the busyness and stresses of everyday life where you can talk about your problems and think more clearly. In a fully confidential environment you can learn to understand and grow yourself in relationship to significant others, within the context of your life and history.
