With a background in education, I am passionate about working with children, adolescents and families in managing any concerning issues. Hey I’m Sheena Schuy. I am a Holistic Therapist (BPsych, MCoun, MSW). Hannah is a registered Play Therapist with APTA and holds Clinical registration as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist with PACFA. She uses a person-centred / child centred with experience of working with anxiety, trauma, depression, grief and loss to name a few. Hannah has worked with clients from 3 years up to end of life span and from a variety of cultures. Hannah uses her Play Therapy approach with children and adults to allow children, adolescents and adults express their emotions, improve their communication, and solve problems.

North Side Play Therapy offers age appropriate counselling to children and teenagers using Child-Centered Play Therapy. Children take the lead in the playroom and engage with the therapist and the resources available on their own terms, giving the therapist insight into the child's view of themselves, their relationships and the world around them. In the playroom, children are able to safely discuss and process their past experiences while the therapist responds in a way that helps the child build their independence, self-esteem and ability to self-regulate. We welcome children and teens of all ages and abilities.
