With over 10 years of experience in mental health, I have worked extensively to support adolescents, adults, and families to overcome complex mental health difficulties and improve their quality of life. I have a particular passion for helping people who experience intense emotions and interpersonal difficulties. My approach focuses on helping people to identify their blind spots, understand their experiences, develop effective strategies, and ultimately gain more control over their life. I understand that recovery means not just managing symptoms, but also leading a life worth living.
Respecting each person’s individuality, I place a strong emphasis on the importance of the therapeutic relationship whilst drawing on available research and my breadth of clinical experience to offer treatment that is tailored to each person and their unique preferences and needs.
I believe that successful therapy results from a collaborative partnership that involves informed consent and effective communication, and I encourage people to take an active role in their treatment.
