Welcome, I am Mathew Bergan (he, him), a therapist and counsellor for individuals. I am committed to creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported while exploring your experiences. I am skilled in supporting individuals to navigate issues involving sexuality, gender, relationships & cultural diversity. I hold a Graduate Diploma in Gestalt psychotherapy and also Brainspotting.
I focus on methods to improve self awareness and belonging. I work with the symptoms of addiction, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, culture and diversity. I am also trauma informed and relationally focused.
I support contemporary approaches to gender affirming practice, LBGTQIA+ community mental health. I am also a volunteer at ACON and QLife.
