I work with both individuals and couples. I enjoy assisting people to overcome the particular challenges they are facing and to achieve their goals. I aim to create an environment where my clients feel comfortable and safe to talk openly about what they want and where they feel understood and accepted. I listen to their unique story and respond in a warm empathic manner.
While I am able to utilise a range of skills and modalities, I have a particular interest in hypnosis and EMDR. EMDR is very effective particularly in treating trauma. I find hypnosis is enjoyed by clients, it leaves them calm and relaxed and enables them to release tension and worry without having to do a lot of talking.
I treat each person as a unique individual with their own life story and their own challenges. I realise many people feel "not right" without understanding why, I am happy to help identify the problem and strategies that can assist in achieving a positive outcome.
