Hello, my name is Martin. I work as a Clinical Sexologist, Relationship Counsellor and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. As a Clinical Sexologist, I support individuals and their partner/s to address concerns about their sexual function and overall sexual well-being. These can include difficulties relating to erectile dysfunction, premature or delayed ejaculation, vulvodynia, vaginismus, as well as other difficulties with sex and relating. I also support clients in discussing topics relating to sexuality and gender more generally, with a particular interest in helping people with unwanted or distressing legal paraphilias.
As a Relationship Counsellor, I work with people in relationships of all formations, supporting people to connect and work through difficulties or challenges that may present. My practice is informed by attachment theory, systems theory, psychodynamic theory and emotion-focused therapy.
There are many factors that can influence our relationship with ourselves, our bodies and/or our partners/s. Being able to talk about these with a safe, non-judgmental and professional practitioner can be the first step in getting support.
